Starship Troopers

Starship Troopers . Classic sci-fi.
Really classic ? Really sci-fi ?
By me, it's an ignoring story. Classic story without sci and with litle of fi.
Ignoring other classic sci-fi of that age, and like a movie form 21st century , it's a definitely a retro sci-fi.
Why:
1. Robots
Where they are ?
2. lack of firepower
Artilery ? Amoured vehicles ?
Just mens with guns ...
Absolutely unacceptable , now, and of course at the age when this story was published .
Ok, and most horrible thing is ,somebody has been decide to make a movie based on that story without changing most unacceptable parts of original
novel.

Blade Runner. Back to 80’

Blade Runner. A movie.

Classic sci-fi.

So classic. Dirt, wet, long coats. And introductory scene with big “oil rig” flames ..

Every movie is a  “painting” of age when it was produced.

80’.

Problems with traffic,dirty cities, crime, everything is here. Trying to look appropriate.

But it is not.

Super genetic technology, not widely used by humans customers, and “space-wide” civilization without robots. I mean robots-technology-automatization-everywhere .

Blade Runner is just another movie which was trying to look “appropriate” at his age.

Now it is just … sad.
